What We'll Talk About

Every conversation is tailored to your specific situation, but here are the core areas we'll explore together.

Past Marketing Experiences

We'll discuss any past experiences with agencies, consultants, or marketing initiatives—good or bad. Understanding what worked and what didn't helps me avoid repeating mistakes and build on what's been successful.

Team & Stakeholders

I'll ask about your internal team, key decision-makers, and anyone else who'll be involved in the project. Knowing who's at the table helps streamline communication and ensures everyone's aligned.

Investment Expectations

We'll have an open conversation about your budget range and timeline expectations. This ensures we're aligned from the start and that I can recommend solutions that fit within your investment parameters.

Company Background

I'll ask about your business, the services or products you provide, and how long you've been operating. This helps me understand your foundation and what makes your company unique in the market.

Client Avatars

We'll discuss your ideal clients and customers—who they are, what they need, and what pain points they're experiencing. Understanding your audience is critical to building an effective marketing strategy.

Marketing & Sales Goals

I'll want to know your specific marketing and sales objectives. Whether it's generating more leads, improving brand positioning, or increasing revenue, clarity on your goals helps me map out the right approach.

Current Marketing Activities

We'll review your existing marketing efforts—what's working, what's not, and where the gaps are. This gives me insight into what needs to be optimized, replaced, or built from scratch.

Sales Process & Funnel

I'll ask about your sales cycle, lead generation process, and how prospects move through your funnel. Understanding this helps me identify where marketing can have the biggest impact on revenue.

Brand Positioning & Identity

We'll discuss your brand's current positioning, messaging, and visual identity. Whether you have a strong brand or need to start from scratch, this helps determine if brand strategy work is needed before other efforts.

Website Performance

I'll want to know about your existing website—what's working, what's outdated, and whether it's actually converting visitors into leads. This helps assess if a redesign or rebuild is necessary.

Competitive Landscape

We'll talk about your main competitors and how they're positioning themselves online. Understanding the competitive landscape helps identify opportunities to differentiate your brand and marketing approach.

Industry & Market Context

I'll ask about your industry's current trends, challenges, and opportunities. Every industry has unique dynamics, and understanding yours helps me recommend strategies that actually work in your space.

Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know before scheduling your strategy call.

Do I Need to Prepare Anything Before Our Call?

Not much at all. The call will be over Zoom, and I just ask that you're in a quiet environment where you can focus on the conversation (so please don't take it while driving).

Based on what you share, I'll ask questions about your company background, competitors, current marketing & sales situation and goals.

All you need to do is spend a few minutes beforehand thinking through what you want to accomplish so you're ready to have a productive conversation.

What Types of Projects Do You Take On?

I work on three main types of engagements.

First, brand strategy and visual identity projects where we define or refine your positioning, messaging, and visual brand system.

Second, web design and development projects in Figma and Webflow to build high-performing marketing websites.

And third, ongoing monthly marketing retainers covering content marketing (mainly video), paid advertising, SEO, email marketing, and more.

I also offer hourly consulting at $175/hour for select clients when it makes sense for both of us.

What Types of Companies Do You Work With?

I primarily work with professional service-based companies, both B2C and B2B. This includes accounting firms, law firms, architecture firms, consulting agencies, therapists, financial advisors, interior designers, healthcare providers, technology firms, home services, gyms & fitness studios, etc.

If you're in a professional services space and need to strengthen your brand, build a better website, or generate more leads online, there's a good chance we'll be a fit.

What Is the Typical Investment Required for a Project?

Brand strategy and visual identity engagements start at $10,000 and typically range from $10,000 to $25,000 depending on scope.

Website design and development projects start at $15,000 and can go up to $50,000+ for more complex builds.

Ongoing monthly marketing retainers start at $3,000 to $5,000 per month with a minimum commitment of either six or twelve months.

Hourly consulting is available at $175/hour for the right fit.

How Long Does a Typical Project Take?

Brand strategy and visual identity projects typically take one to three months from kickoff to completion.

Website design and development projects usually take two to three months, depending on complexity and how quickly we can move through feedback cycles.

For ongoing monthly marketing retainers, these are structured around recurring monthly deliverables with a minimum commitment timeline of either six or twelve months, so we're working together consistently over that period.

What Happens After the Strategy Call?

It depends on the project.

Sometimes we'll need a follow-up meeting to bring in additional stakeholders or drill down into more details if the project is particularly complex.

Other times, we can move straight into the proposal phase.

If we're ready to move forward, I'll send over a detailed proposal along with a screen recording presentation walking through everything, so you have full context.

From there, we can always schedule a follow-up call to discuss the proposal if needed.

It really comes down to the scope, complexity, and what makes sense on your end.

How Quickly Can We Get Started?

Projects generally require a lead time of at least two to four weeks, depending on my current availability.

That said, we can always work to get all the administrative work handled in advance—proposal, contract, invoice, and project planning—so that by the time your start date arrives, we can hit the ground running on day one.

I'll work with you to find a timeline that aligns with both your goals and my capacity.

Do You Work With Other Professionals or Is It Just You?

It's primarily just me, but I do have several trusted design and marketing professionals in my network from both my agency and consulting experience.

This includes logo designers, brand strategists, UI/UX designers, Webflow developers, and specialists in specific marketing channels such as paid ads, content marketing, email marketing, and other niche areas.

If a project requires additional expertise or a faster turnaround, I can bring in the right people. Rest assured, I'll always manage everything on your behalf and serve as your main point of contact throughout the engagement.
